Norway is in Schengen. It does not accept the SA temporary passport, so travel on a full passport. Plan spare nights: the aurora needs clear skies. The visa fee is €90 for adults, plus the visa centre's service fee. Since 10 April 2026 the EU's Entry/Exit System scans your face (and fingerprints) at your first border crossing instead of stamping your passport; allow extra time, as queues of two hours or more have been reported at major airports.
